Hello ELOS addicted,

I would like to present you my new project: a 300L reef tank.

I received the tank and stand ( that is yet to be covered) last week and have finished the lighting supports yesterday. Next phase is going to be the covering of the metal structure. Nedless to say that is going to be a tank maintained by ELOS products.

Tank: 100*60*50cm ( Length*Wide*High) - 300L; rimless, 12mm glass, black painted glass in the overflow

Lighting: 6*39W T5 HO ( 4 Blue Special + ...

As my first post here in ELOS Forum, I would like to share my newest scape with the community. It is still in construction and it has much to mature but I wanted to share the begining and post the evolution as tank matures.

Tank: 70*40*40cm ( 112L)

Lighting: 4 x 18W T8 ( 2 x Osram Skywhite + 2 x Phillips TLD Graphica Pro)

Filter: Eheim 2213

CO2: Pressurized system with 10kg bottle, pressure valve, ELOS ATO10 diffusor, ELOS Conta and ELOS Visual

My HUGE Acropora microphthalma

My huge Acropora microphthalma has left my home. She was grown up until reaching huge dimensions of about 50�40x40 cm and my Aquarium was too small for her� so I decided to sell to create some empty spaces into my tank and so building a new layout.

I had a tank sitting in the garage for close to 10 months doing nothing. Over the past 4 months I have been building my cabinet. Though not a ELOS cabinet, I did take inspiration from their earlier cabinets and made one similar to theirs.

All my equipment has arrived and finally got all my ELOS substrate and fertilisers. They have just arrived in Australia and hopefully will be in shops over the next few months. I believe I might be the first to try some of the ELOS products in Australia.

New Elos system mini owner; first timer!

Hey folks; I bought one of the first 2 Mini's in the USA!! It has been up and running now for about 3 weeks and I am still fighting the Microbubble issues. I have been working with Jesse the US Elos rep on a few things. I even added a nylon 200micron filter sock to the overflow line today and I still have bubbles. I am wondering if I need to zip tie my pump connections etc to see if this fixes it? I dont have any leaks any where on any connection, no water anywhere but the tank and sump.

New Nitrate test kit range

Dear all,

in order to improve the Test Kit range, to match the request of the more demanding reef-lovers, we have significantly increased the resolution of the NO3 test kit.

Attached a picture of the old color chart and the new one.

As you can realize, with the new color chart the color is more intense at similar value giving then the possibility to have a much higher resolution.

Very low concentration of NO3 (1 - 5 ppm) are now readable making our test one of the ...

Sotto potete vedere la fotografia delle differenze fra le due scale colorimetriche, quella precedente e quella attuale.

Prima la scala era 0-5-10-25-50-75 mentre ora � 0-1-2,5-5-10-25

Lighting a Elos 70?

If anyone has pics of what they use to light their Elos 70, I'd be really interested in seeing them.

I currently have a Teklight with a hanging kit and I'm looking for something to upgrade to. I've been going back and forth with the MH/T5 combo fixtures and the T5 only fixture for some time now. At first it was the Elos Planet II or the Giesemann Infiniti and then it was the ATI Powermodule.

In using my Teklight, my temps rarely go above 80F, so I don't run a chiller and I don't ...

Osmo not maintaining salinity
